Mel & Rob // Brunswick Wedding Photographer

Mel and Rob were married at one of my regular breakfast spots in Brunswick called East Elevation. This charming cafe with its exposed white washed bricks, industrial fittings, wild trees and others contained in jars was a perfect setting for the union of this lovely couple and a place to celebrate with those nearest and dearest to them.

East Elevation is also attached to Monsieur Truffle, chocolate factory, and I am a little embarrassed to admit that I’ve not yet tried their chocolate, but their chai and baked eggs keep me coming back for more.

In my last few years as a wedding photographer, aside from the suprize proposal turned wedding (the bride to be had no idea, and neither did I until 2 hours before the event) Mel and Robs wedding was definitely the most informal ceremony.

They chose to have a very casual and relaxed pre wedding photoshoot with just the 2 of them (well, actually there was 3 of them, but I only discovered that little secret when Rob excitedly let me in on his secret knowing I wouldn’t tell his guests.

The weather was a little gloomy with forecasts of hail, and I consider myself fortunate that we were able to get some gems around the streets and laneways of Brunswick for their wedding photography.

Congratulations Mel and Rob :) x
